In order to contribute to the processing.js project I need to learn more about JavaScript, CSS. Also I need to figure out Source Control using Git: http://github.com Well at least I think its meant to be Source Control. I am using http://github.com/jeresig/processing-js to get the current processing.js files.

I also have to figure out JavaScript differences depending on Browsers. I currently have IE, Chrome, and Firefox on my Vista machine. I will need no get the code to run on as many platforms and browsers as possible.

  1. The Fab Four… Firefox, Safari, Opera, Chrome. The latest full release of each are the target browsers for Processing.js right now.

IE support is a ‘nice-to-implement’ feature, obviously we are still waiting for M$ to get their close-sourced act together. But they have agreed to Canvas as being part of the spec to implement.

    Microsoft’s response at W3C:
“Despite lack of consensus, unless and until new information arises
that merits reconsidering the issue, we are resolved to close
    ISSUE-15 immediate-mode-graphics by accepting
a requirement for an immediate mode graphics API and canvas element.”
